FAQ

Common questions from new members.

Still unsure if you should join the list? Start here.

Does joining the email list mean I have to become a member right away?

No. The list is simply how we keep you in the loop about events and opportunities. You can decide later if you want to become an official member or take on a leadership role.

I don’t have a startup idea yet. Is this still for me?

Yes. Many of our members start with curiosity, not a company. You’ll meet people with ideas looking for teammates, and you’ll get exposure to problems and markets that might spark something for you.

How often will you email me?

Typically once a week during the quarter, plus an occasional extra email if there’s a deadline-sensitive opportunity like a competition or internship.

Is this only for business or CS majors?

Not at all. We have members from engineering, humanities, arts, and sciences. Startups need builders, storytellers, designers, researchers, operators, and more.
